Bulldogs’ tail-wagging ways add swagger Cisneros, wideouts look for big fall payoff

In the first-ever Division III championship game of the statewide 7-on-7 flag football tournament, Palmer finished second to Gunter, a state power in Class 3A. But it took overtime for the Tigers to get past Palmer by a 34-27 count. Adrian Cisneros, who is entering his junior year with the Bulldogs, grew up in front of his teammates. At 5’10” in 2017, he out-dueled 6’1” junior Wesley Greentree to claim the starting quarterback job. Combining both his arms and his legs, he propelled the Dogs to wins in their final three games to finish the regular season with a 5-5 record. Cisneros then paced the Hounds to a number of victories in May and June in the pass-happy game where flags are velcroed to hips and pigs have wings.
