Dominant first half moves ‘Hachie to 1-0

Coming into the season opener at Lumpkin Stadium, Waxahachie fans had a looming question on their minds: would coach Jon Kitna’s crew be able to replace its two prolific playmakers in Jalen Reagor and Kenedy Snell, who both took the field for TCU Saturday evening. That question was answered quickly when the Indians’ new playmakers, Jerreth Sterns and Demani Richardson, put on a show of speed, leading their team to a 35-10 halftime lead. From there, the team down Highway 287 didn’t look back and rolled to a 63-24 week one win.
