Ennis T&F dominated with nine girls Lemonia qualifies for Area meet in four categories

Junior Paige Lemonia has prospered in an outstanding athletic season in maroon as an all-district hoopster as well as an Area qualifier in track and field in four categories. She headlines a group of nine females and one male at this week’s Class 5A / Area 2 meet held at the same location as the district event – Joshua High School. Head Coach Lonnie Redning said that 9-ofthe-13 varsity girls members qualified for the Area venue and, as a team, finished second in the district. “This is just a testament to the talents these girls bring to the table,” said Redning.
