JrHi Flyin’ Lions compete at home track meet

Before a field of 20 teams at Lion Memorial Stadium on Thursday, Ennis Junior High boys and girls track and field teams held their own in a highly competitive meet that featured a number of area middle schools. Up and coming athletes were honing their skills in a number of field events, including the discuss, shot put and long jumps. There were also relays, sprints, long distance runs, as well as hurdles.
