For the second time in three years the Ennis football team has a regular season with six road games. Should the 2019 Lions produce like the 2017 team, they’ll be in good shape.
In 2017 the squad had five of the first seven games on the road and started 0-3. They circled the wagons and hammered out eight consecutive triumphs to reach the area round in the Class 5A playoffs before finishing 8-4.
