Ennis High School looked to finish the season on a high note at the 14-5A Girls Junior Varsity Track and Field Championships at Joshua on Thursday afternoon. The effort and energy were there, though the Lady Lions fell a short of their goal by finishing fifth with 49 points.
The Varsity squad will compete in preliminary qualifications on Wednesday, April 7, in Joshua.
