Ennis Hoopsters enter Midlothian Tourney


Ennis returns to action at the Heritage Hoopfest in Midlothian this Thursday and Friday. Laylon Spencer and Dee Johnson scored a combined 13 points in the second half but it was far from enough to prevent Ennis from falling at home on Monday to No. 6 ranked Waxahachie, 95-29. The non-district boys varsity basketball game was played at the Ensign Gym. To his credit, new Head Coach Roynal Bridgeforth was not dodging stout competition when the schedule was made.
