Veteran Ennis volleyball HC Kelly Henderson opened preseason camp this week, and with a crop of returning starters, has a good shot at contending for a playoff berth in District 14-5A.
The Lady Lions play their home debut on Friday, Aug. 11 when Hillcrest (16-12) comes to town. Henderson’s team narrowly missed the playoffs in 2022 after finishing in a tie for fourth place.
