Ferris to make surprising playoff appearance

What an opportunity the Yellowjackets have at home on Friday. First place Wills Point, 5-4, brings a 4-0 District 6-4A mark to Ferris, who are 3-1. Coach Brandon Layne’s Stingers could finish as high as first or second or as low as third or fourth. “I feel very good about our defense’s plan for Friday,” Layne said. “Last year Wills Point ran over us (326 yards). They were bigger and stronger than
