Waxahachie School Board members voted on Monday, Feb. 8, to hire Shane Tolleson as the next football head coach at Class 6A Waxahachie.
Tolleson, who turns 40 in March, was the Defensive Coordinator at Denton Ryan the past seven years, including this year’s Class 5A Division I state champion Raiders (15-0). During his years in Denton his teams combined for a 90-10 record.
