HEADED TO THE STAR James Harris rambled for 155 yards and a TD.

Ennis roared past Greenville, 35-14, with Dyllan Santos accounting for four touchdowns and James Harris powered for 155 yards and a TD to punch their playoff ticket with a 35-14 road win at T.A. Cotton Ford Stadium. Now 5-4, the Lions will travel to The Star in Frisco to face Reedy (10-0) at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 16. Team Maroon delivered an efficient first half that rolled for 242 yards and a defense that held the home team to 78 yards to build a 21-7 lead. The second half was not a thing of beauty, though a resilient Greenville team should be given ample credit for making a short-lived game of it. Head Coach Sam Harrell said afterwards his team did what they had to do. That is coach speak for got-it-done, and it is a by-product of good coaching and players rising to the occasion. After two periods of connecting the dots, Ennis stumbled for 20 minutes, then regrouped and put away a stubborn opponent. Read stories like this and more in your latest edition of The Ennis News.
