Improved play marks Ennis netters

After sweeping Lancaster earlier in the week, a new rotation fueled Ennis to a comeback victory in the first game of the series on Friday against Seguin. The Lady Cougars regrouped and took the match, 3-1, for their fourth district win of the season.
The Lady Lions, with a pair of league wins, took the first game, 25-21, by scoring the set’s final eight points. Outside hitters Cacy Thompson and Morgan Hopkins powered the team’s frontline, both assisted by Kaylin Wood.
