Jackets power rests in both lines

Head Coach Brandon Layne knows what aces his Ferris team holds, but he wasn’t sure of what he had up front in the offensive and defensive lines. Weeks later he now believes he has a winning hand. “Our fronts have shown to be strong on both sides of the ball,” he said this week. “Our young kids have continued to improve in understanding and execution of schemes.” Ferris opens the season at always tough Life High School in Waxahachie on Friday.
