Jaycee Park welcomes 25 XC teams

Ennis will host to the annual Lions Den Invitational cross country meet on Saturday at Jaycee Park. Now in its 19th year, the event is
the longest running XC meet in Ellis County. The Lions Den will feature various starting times, called rolling starts, as well as different distances according to the competing group. It begins with a one-mile family community run at 7:45 a.m. and is followed by ten other races.Varsity girls from Class 1A to 4A schools start at 8 a.m., with girls in Classes 5A and 6A .Then its Class 1A to 4A boys, and then Class 5A and 6A boys.
