Kitna future in question?

Current football head coach at Waxahachie High School, Jon Kitna, has reportedly interviewed for a position on the Cincinnati staff by the Bengals head coach, Marvin Lewis. Kitna was the starting quarterback there from 2001-2005 before mentoring Carson Palmer. According to Sporting News, a source told them of the alleged interview. Lewis, 59, was resigned by the Bengals a week ago. He has been at the helm since the 2003 season. He just named Baltimore assistant Teryl Austin as the new defensive coordinator. Bill Lazor was elevated from quarterbacks coach to offensive coordinator during the season when Ken Zampese was fired. The quarterbacks gig has remained open, though Kitna’s potential role wasn’t reported. Read this story and more in your Weekday edition of The Ennis News. Be informed, subscribe today!
