Lady Lions volleyball hopes to improve with new players in 2018 season


Away from the hustle of classes and school activities, the summer often finds the real dedication by athletes taking place. Ennis volleyball, which is entering its second full year under head coach Kelly Henderson, has begun the summer bent on another winning season. The 2017 edition of Lady Lions had their moments, but finished fourth in District 17-5A with a 4-6 mark that left returning players knowing there is a need to improve. For the second straight season the team qualified for the playoffs, but a fourth place team faces little chance when paired against a district champion.
