Lewis ignites Bulldogs past Italy in scrimmage

Palmer and Italy demonstrated plenty of physical play in a controlled scrimmage that left both football teams feeling upbeat heading into the regular season.

The host Bulldogs held an advantage in most every area, scoring three of the exhibition’s five touchdowns. They yielded a 70-yard sideline scoring run to Italy sophomore Kendrick Norwood on the first play of the night, then dominated play for the next hour.
