Lion tennis stuns Wichita Falls powers

Allyson Skuza won a 15-13 tiebreaker that clinched Ennis’ 10-9 victory over Old High on Saturday. The senior called it the biggest win of her life.

Lion team tennis got off to a great start this year, but on Saturday, Ennis went to a new level.

Ennis (8-1) was coming off a 10-9 loss at home on Friday against a Texarkana Texas High team it lost to 10-0 a year ago. On Saturday, the Lions took down Wichita Falls Rider 11-8 and then bested Wichita Falls Old High 10-9.
