Former Ennis All-District center Patlan Mendez enters his third season at Arkansas Tech University this fall. The redshirt sophomore is bidding to earn playing time as a tight end.
Listed at 5’11 and 230-pounds and wearing jersey No. 48, Mendez has his work cut out for him for the NCAA Division II team. The Wonder Boys, 5-6 in 2024, are members of the Great American Conference.
