Palmer Lady Bulldogs

The Palmer Lady Bulldogs picked up a much needed win over Scurry-Rosser on Tuesday of this week. The Lady Bulldogs

trailed at the half 18-13. In the second half, they picked up the energy on both ends of the floor by outscoring the Lady

Wildcats 28-12, and winning the game 41-30. Palmer was led by Kendall Waddle’s 14 points, 8 rebounds and 3 blocks.

Teryn Pritchett had nine points and eight rebounds. Palmer’s girls still have a chance at a playoff spot with three more

victories in their last four games. They will host the defending state champion Sunnyvale Lady Raiders on Friday night.

Palmer’s boys’ teams have had a tough season, losing two more games this week. In Friday’s game, Palmer traveled to

Maypearl to take on the 0-6 Panthers. The Bulldogs fought hard for fourth quarters, but came away with the 66-51 loss.
