Palmer places three on All-District team

Palmer High School placed three deserving players on the All-District team, including two seniors. The Class 3A Bulldogs assembled a 19-12 record, the best among The Big 5. Head Coach Ryan Fortenberry’s trio of bucketeers all averaged scoring in double-figures. Both seniors finished stellar careers in which they eclipsed the one-thousand point marker. Dylan Villasenor was a 5’8 point guard, and though he shared the ball as a passer, he scored enough with a 40 percent shooting touch and 32 treys to be a player that opponents had to plan for. He averaged 11.1 points per game while distributing a noteworthy 5.6 assists per outing. His sinewy build was built for speed and slashing to the rack. He was also an adept defender, leading the team in both steals (68) and blocked shots (8). His career finished with 1,127 points and 504 assists.
