Tribe VB powerhouse rolls on

Perennial volleyball powerhouse Waxahachie is at it again. The reigning District 10-5A champions, with three returning starters from last year’s 42-9 Indians team, are preparing for the season by facing stiff competition from Class 6A and 5A. Prior to meeting South Grand Prairie on Tuesday and playing in a handful of tournament matches over the weekend, the Tribe was 12-8 overall, including a 5-3 mark against Class 6A opposition. Head coach Sandy Faussett is entering her 17th season in the Gingerbread City. Combined with 10
