UMHB tennis inks Rendon, Almanza


A pair of Ennis senior tennis players, Amanda Almanza and Vicky Rendon, have signed to play collegiate tennis at the University of Mary Hardin Baylor in Belton, Texas. Both enjoyed success under Head Coach Keith Howard and Assistant Coach Wyatt Johnson, with Rendon winning the district championship in girls singles and Almanza earning the No. 3 ranking mixed doubles. Each advanced to the Class 5A regionals, Rendon as the No. 1 seed and Almanza as an alternate.
