One of the most productive seasons in Ennis cross country history may have ended in the fall but members of both the Lions and Lady Lions are continuing to received honors for their performances.

Two members of the team, Jessica Gomez and Carolina Hernandez earned Academic All-State recognition.

“Carolina and Jessica are great representatives of what a student athlete is,” said Lonnie Redning, veteran head coach at Ennis. “Not only did they work hard on the XC course, but where it counts the most – academics. I am super proud of these two young ladies, and am confident they will continue to excel in college.”
