Mexia Teacher Arrested on Human Trafficking Charges


Mexia, TX – News sources reported Thursday that Amber Michelle Parker, 37, of Fairfield, TX was arrested on charges of Human Trafficking. McLennan and Freestone County Sheriffs’ offices e worked on the case that led to the arrests. Parker, who teaches 6th and 8th grade reading and arts classes in Mexia, allegedly was communicating with two men in the African Country of Morocco, concerning coming to Texas to have sex with the victim, an underage family member, and herself. News reports say that Parker sent pictures of the victim dressed in a negligee to the men to continue their interest in having sex with the underaged girl. The men offered to fly the girl and Parker to Casa Blanca for them to have sex with the two women. Parker allegedly was also trying to sell the teen to the men.
