No injuries after trooper dragged by vehicle

A state trooper was dragged by a vehicle driven by a DWI suspect whom the officer was attempting to arrest Tuesday night in Hunt County, officials said. The Texas Department of Public Safety trooper stopped a Chrysler SUV about 6:30 p.m. on Interstate 30 in Greenville near Division Street, in Greenville, Texas, just east of Dallas. When the trooper attempted to arrest the driver on suspicion of DWI, the driver hopped back in the SUV and took off, dragging the trooper about 100 yards, DPS Lt. Lonny Haschel said.
