Italy Boys Earned Bi-District Bid


Quiet for much of the season, Italy (7-11) took fourth in District 19-2A behind first place Kerens (14-9, 9-1 in district). They had a date with District 20-2A champion Grapeland (23 miles south of Palestine) on Monday, Feb. 19, in an opening round game at Navarro College. The No. 5 ranked Sandies are 26-6.
