NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the City Council of the City of Garrett, Texas, acting as the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City, will hold a Public Hearing on January 10, 2013, at 7:00 p.m., at
the Garrett City Hall, 208 North Ferris, Garrett, Texas 75119, to consider the application of the ERE PROPERTY, LLC, dba Brazos
Valley Equipment Co. to amend the basic zoning ordinance of the City of Garrett to include the following unlisted specific use, to wit: “Heavy Farm Equipment Dealership with Outside Storage & Display”; and to grant a specific use zoning change for a Heavy Farm Equipment Dealership with Outside Storage & Display to be located on applicants property being Tract One containing the approximately 1.6078 acres conveyed by Grantor Ronald Lee Welch (aka Lee Welch), to Grantee ERE PROPERTY, LLC, and filed of record in Volume 2637 at Page 1225 of the Deed Records of Ellis County, Texas; and Tract Two being that certain tract or parcel of land containing approximately 9.3279 acres conveyed by Grantor John R. Welch (aka John Robert Welch), to Grantee ERE PROPERTY, LLC, and filed of record in Volume 2637 at Page 1221 of the Deed Records of Ellis County, Texas. All interested citizens and property owners of the City, as well as other persons of interest, are invited to attend these public hearings and participate in the same, may express his or her opinion concerning the proposed zoning by letter addressed to the City Secretary, 208 North Ferris, Garrett, Texas 75119
