Newcomers to the area know about the National Polka Festival, which draws approximately 40,000 people to town for music, dancing, beer and all things Czech, not to mention the Bluebonnet Trails and Festival, Fall Nationals, the Lights of Ennis, Freedom Fest - Fourth of July fireworks and the Fall Festival over Labor Day weekend.
Then there is Blues on Main and Autumn Daze and seven months of Farmers Market Saturdays – now called the Bluebonnet Market. They are all well attended and blanket the renovated downtown.
