Residents of nearby Bardwell, Texas (pop. 720) continued to be without water or have had very low water pressure since the issue first arose on Sunday morning. It has continued into Tuesday afternoon.
Calls to Rural Bardwell Water Supply Corporation provided no information or an estimated time of completion other than to say, “we’re working on it.” The system, which serves 235 rural homes, has one part-time employee and uses three other day laborers as needed.
