One of the first imported hired by Don Drake is new Defensive Coordinator, Jeff Price, who is in his 12th year of education. The two coached together at McKinney Boyd. Price has also served at Blue Ridge, S&S Consolidated, Little Elm, and McKinney Boyd.

What started out like fireworks had the fuse quickly cut in a 3-1 Midlothian win at Ennis on Friday, March 28. The second meeting of District 15-5A leaders in a week ended with the same winner, as every run was scored in the first inning.

Last week’s Bluebonnet Relays witnessed the Lady Lions JV team earn a third place finish, thanks in part to a first place in the triple jump by Mykaela Dewberry. She hopped, skipped and jumped 32-feet, 10.25 inches, while Brooklyn Curry won 2nd place with a 76’9” effort in the discus.
