Monday’s annual Memorial Day ceremony, is scheduled for 11 a.m. on May 27. The public is welcome. It will be held at Veteran’s Park on the west side of town, 2301 Ennis Parkway. Different from Veteran’s Day in November, which recognizes all military veterans, Memorial Day honors those who have died while serving in the U.S. armed forces.
