Shelley Dawn “Baby Doll” Redmon, 50, passed away in Arlington, Texas on Thursday, July 4, 2019.

Shelley was born in Dallas, Texas to Charles Lewis and Dora Lovaun (Betts) Bice. She grew up in Dallas and Mesquite. Shelley attended Eustace High School and went on to Trinity Valley College. On July 9, 1986 she married the love of her life Lawrence Redmon and they made their home in several cities including: Rice, Cedar Creek Lake, Fort Worth and finally to Arlington.

Shelley worked in customer service at Wal Mart and in sales at the Tea Cup and Toy Pets Boutique. She was a member of the Church of Christ and led a Support Group for patients after Gastric Bypass surgeries. She enjoyed cake decorating and riding the Harley Davidson with her husband.

She is survived by her husband of almost thirty-three years, Lawrence Redmon; sons: Jacob Redmon and wife, Shaina, Joshua Cole Redmon and Jordan Redmon; eight grandchildren; mother, Dora Betts; brothers: Kenneth Bice, Jason Bice and Tony Bice; sister, Rebecca Riley along with a host of extended family and friends.

Shelley is preceded in death by her father and a daughter, Jessica.

Visitation was held on Friday, July 12, 2019 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.

A Celebration of her Life was held on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 10 a.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis. Interment followed in Kings Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
