Christmas scenes painted on Ennis store windows, shoppers merrily traversing the street, and almost daily activities downtown have sparked the Christmas spirit in town.

A few months ago the heretofore beloved ninth planet, Pluto, who has been declared a non-planet by the International Astronomical Union, has been reinstated among the Solar System Planet Club by others.
