It is never a surprise when waves break, flowers bloom to the sun and the laughter of children makes the strongest of adults come undone. It’s what they do.So it is when people with a penchant for making things happen are aligned with opportunities. Catalysts spur things into action. Organizations, businesses and teams accomplish little, if anything, without synergistic people involved.

I love a good pun. I married my wife because of many reasons but one of them was that she is the Queen of Puns. She is able to put that zinger in the middle of a phrase or comment that makes you tilt your head to the side, screw up your face as the words sinks in, and then groan from the pain inflicted. She’s that good.I have run across many of these puns on social media sites and have alternatively laughed or groaned at the resultant phrase has induced literary pain in one form or another. So, I thought I would take you on a trip through the pun-iverse.

“Hmmm, that looks comfy.”I was flipping through a glossy home decor magazine and stopped at a section on bathrooms. The featured element, the tub, was a harsh, gray rectangle with knifeedge corners made of gray poured concrete. If it weren’t for the rose petals floating on top of the water, you might mistake it for a particularly cruel and unusual horse trough.

When you see the actions from a product of the do-the-right-thing generation, it begs for a moment of consideration.

Oh, it is coming! Donald Trump, the orange one, has done it now. World War III is on the horizon and so is a draft reinstatement! Oh, mercy! Where is my safe room? Where are my crayons? Where is my hot chocolate and my puppy!

The only time you see grayhaired people like me on television is in commercials that only run during the evening news.

It has happened again. Six seconds of terror in a church in White Settlement, just outside of Ft. Worth. It couldn’t have been in a more perfect spot, except it
