One of Ennis’ proudest sons, Kevyion KD Davis, the leading tackler in University of North Texas history, will soon suit up for his first full season with the Montreal Alouettes of the nine-team Canadian Football League. An Alouette is French for Lark, a singing bird. He will wear jersey No. 46.

Ennis alum caps first year as HC in Kansas

Two months of regular season action, mixed in with rainouts, has led to a list of playoff champions and playoff finalists (second place) in both the Ennis Baseball and Ennis Softball associations. Next on the calendar are district playoffs for area teams, followed by state tournaments for teams that advance.
