Bardwell candidates announced for May 1

According to Ellis County Elections, the City of Bardwell will have a new mayor following the May 1 Election Day. Larry Gilbert has served the 600 residents south of Lake Bardwell for the past two years.

Jana Onyon, Certified Elections Registration Administrator, stated this week that a sample Bardwell ballot will be on the Ellis County website next week. There will be two mayoral candidates and three city council applicants, the latter vying for two council seats.

City Council - Clint Ivy, Dolores Luksa, Susan Dionne Sauers
