Kiwanis Club reaches out to Ennis

With nearly 600,000 members in eighty nations worldwide, Kiwanis International, a 105 year old nondenominational service organization – with service to kids at its heart - is in the early stages of chartering the Kiwanis Club of Ennis, and is reaching out to interested Ennis area residents and businesses.

Every community’s kids have unique needs. Local Kiwanis Clubs, chartered by Kiwanis International, are empowered and encouraged to identify those needs, and to creatively address them. To that end, local Kiwanis Clubs host nearly 150,000 service projects annually, log more than six million service hours, and raise nearly $100 million annually for communities, families, and projects.

The target charter date for the new Kiwanis Club of Ennis is September, 2020.

The first per-organizational meeting will be by ZOOM, and is scheduled for Tuesday September 15, 2020 at 7 p.m.
