VFW awards essay contest winners

Congratulations are in order for Emily Barnard (above), Patriot’s Pen Essay winner for the 2019-2020 school year. Emily will be a freshman this year at Palmer High School.
She was presented a $100 check from VFW Commander Don Fritz (right) and a $100 check from VFW Auxiliary Senior Vice President Marilee Block (left).
