Harridell Pecot passed away in Ennis, Texas on Sunday October 18, 2020.

Harridell was born in Ennis Texas in 1919 to Harry and Lulu Gardiner. She grew up in Ennis and graduated from Ennis High School. Harridell was married to Neil Morse. Harridell and Neil had four children that they raised in Ennis, Texas. Harridell later married Robert Pecot and moved to Rusk, Texas and then to Dallas.

Harridell worked as a homemaker and in the hospitality industry as a waitress, restaurant manager and country club manager.

Dianna Perkins, 68, passed away on Oct. 10, 2020. Visitation was held on Friday, Oct. 16, 2020, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., at Eternal Rest Funeral Home - Desoto, 1400 N. Hampton Rd., Desoto, Texas 75115.

Wake was held on Friday, Oct. 16, 2020, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Holy Temple Chirch, 201 E. Lake St., Ennis.

Funeral service was held on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2020, at 11 a.m., at Eternal Rest Funeral Home - Desoto.

Interment followed in Lincoln Cemetery.

Matthew “Tyler” Brady, of Waxahachie, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2020, at the age of 34 with his loving family at his bedside.

Tyler was born in Dallas, Texas, on March 9, 1986. He graduated from Waxahachie High School in 2004. He played football and baseball for the Waxahachie Indians and was a member of FFA all four years of high school. Tyler also did volunteer work for the Ellis County Juvenile Court and the Ellis County Clerk’s Office his junior and senior years of school.

Willie Blackshire, 68, passed away on Oct. 3, 2020.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Oct. 16, 2020, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., at Superior Care Funeral Services, 1905 W. Ennis Ave., Ste. 201, Ennis, Texas 75119.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2020, at 12 p.m., at Bright Morning Star Baptist Church, 1007 Daffan Ave., Ennis.
