The National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association (NARFE), Chapter 1191, will hold its monthly meeting at the Sirloin Stockade in Corsicana on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, from 11 a.m until 1 p.m.

Called the Bulldog Academy, the group began the program as freshmen.

Easter bluebonnets - The Ennis Garden Club announced that the opening of the Bluebonnet Trail would coincide with Easter Week in the spring of 1955. A freeze, however, damaged some crops and the opening was delayed.
