The Ennis Retired School Personnel Association serves eastern Ellis County and the surrounding areas. ERSPA meets the first Thursday of every other month at 2 p.m.

Ellis County Singers, many of whom recently helped share the gospel in song at Carnegie Hall in New York City, will present a concert at First Presbyterian Church, 210 N. McKinney St, Ennis, on Sunday, Feb. 9, 2020, at 6 p.m.

Theatre Rocks Veteran director Bill Rhoten is pursuing a female actress for the leading role in the February premier of “Forever,” a play set in 1941-42. The two-set venue is written and directed by Rhoten. The character should be in the 18-to-29 age

Corsicana Quilt Guild meets the first Monday of each month at the Church of Christ at Westhill, 2300 Hwy 22 W., Corsicana. Social time is at 9:30 a.m. and the meeting begins at 10 a.m.
