Democrats were a faint-cry in all-red Ellis County, where a mere 4.0 percent (5,670) of the 139,554 registered voters turned out to vote blue. President Joseph Biden collected 92 percent at the polls to win the county, with Colin Allred did likewise by grabbing 79 percent.
Both victories set up predicted showdowns in November against Donald Trump and Senator Ted Cruz respectively.
