Ellis County and District Attorney Ann Montgomery sent a press release this week stating Lauren Dovers was convicted of capital murder by a jury and sentenced to life in prison without parole. The now 28-year-old from Waxahachie, was found to have assisted in the 2021 brutal murder of Jordan Von Hoffman, 29, of Waxahachie.
