Director of the Ennis Economic Development Corporation, Jim Wehmeier, has announced his resignation in order to accept a similar offer in Princeton, Texas. Located 73 miles north of Ennis, it is the third fastest growing city in America.
A strong figure in Ennis, he arrived in October of 2020 from McKinney, where he was a partner in a municipal government and economic development consulting firm.
