Ferris Independent School District police force will have a new, four-legged addition to the team. Storm, a mix between a Labrador Retriever and a pit bull, has been commissioned to work with officer, Levie Smith.
“She has the best qualities of both animals,” says Smith, the dog’s handler. “She is loyal, smart and compassionate, but when she is on the job, though, she’s all business.”
