District Superintendent James Hartman tendered his resignation as Head of Ferris Independent Schools, a retirement decision that was accepted on Tuesday by the FISD Board of Trustees. Hartman, who was in his eighth year in Bricktown, will be the new Vice President of IDEA Public Schools in Tampa Bay.
