Campaign signs reflected favorably for Scott Hejny, who rolled to a convincing 114-to-12 triumph over Rachael Skinner to retain his seat as Ennis Ward 3 City Commissioner. At 53, he has served twice previously in this capacity. His third is a three-year stint.
As the only local race on the ballot, it drew a scant crowd to the polls. Of the 2,707 registered voters in Ward 4, only 126 turned out.
