Two armed assailants robbed and shot an unnamed female last week, three blocks from the Ennis Police Station.
The robbers entered a home on the 300 block of West Milam Street. During the attempted robbery one of the assailants, a male, shot the female resident of the apartment in the face before fleeing from the scene. Ennis police arrived on the scene and the woman was treated for a gunshot wound …
