Lifelong Ennis resident Lynda Isbell has announced her plan to campaign for mayor. It came days after she resigned her seat on the City Commission after serving as Mayor Pro Tem for approximately 18 months.
Texas Constitution holds her position, as well as outgoing Mayor Kameron Raburn, until a successor is sworn into office following the January 31, 2026 election.
